Heartwood Resort is home to the Namekagon National Championship Disc Golf Course. The course features a par three nine-hole and 24 holes of scenic tournament level play. The course was built by Tim Gill in 2011.
Disc golf is a flying disc sport in which players throw a disc toward a target. Basically, throwing a frisbee toward an elevated metal basket. The sport uses rules similar to golf. This course is great for both beginners and tournament players. There is a charge to play the course and discs are available for rental. This beautiful course provides the perfect opportunity to try a new sport as a family while visiting our resort or challenge your disc golf league to create a tournament!
The Namekagon National Championship Disc Golf Course is open year-round, seven days a week from 8am – 5pm.
